Austin, TX – October 27 2008 , Solis Women’s Health announced today that it has purchased the assets of Indio, California based Breast Health Center (BHC). Concurrent with the asset purchase Solis has entered into a long term management agreement with BHC founder Dr. Marla Lander, a leading southern California breast imager. Under the terms of the agreement Dr. Lander will continue to direct all clinical activities at the center.

Brad Hummel, Chief Executive Officer, said “The relationship with Dr. Lander and the Breast Health Center presents an ideal extension of Solis’ model into southern California. We are delighted to be partnering with Dr. Lander, who is nationally recognized in the clinical, teaching and research arenas. We believe that the greater Palm Springs area, as well as the densely populated communities in Riverside and San Diego Counties represents an underserved market for our highly focused healthcare services model. We will be implementing our digital infrastructure and beginning deployment of Solis Mammography Centers, our community based screening facilities, in the Palm Springs area immediately. BHC represents our third major venture in as many months and we anticipate continuing our acquisition and development activity throughout the country.”
