Austin, TX – April 7, 2008, Solis Women’s Health announced today that it has acquired Phoenix, Arizona based MedTech Mammography Centers. Founded in 1988 by Kent McCurley, MedTech is one of the largest independent providers of screening mammography in the southwest. The MedTech complex includes 7 facilities in greater Phoenix and 3 in Tucson. Solis CEO Brad Hummel, commented, “The acquisition of MedTech dramatically increases our reach in Phoenix and Tucson. The geographic distribution of the MedTech facilities establishes convenient screening mammography access to patients throughout these fast growing urban markets. Each of these facilities offers full field digital mammography and will quickly be integrated into the Solis network, which includes our recently acquired BenOra Imaging comprehensive breast care center.
