Austin, TX – March 24, 2008, Solis-BenOra Imaging, Phoenix’s first independent breast center, announced today that it has relocated to 1313 E. Osborn Road in Phoenix, AZ. The new 8600 s.f., state-of-the-art facility opened featuring digital mammography technology for all screening and diagnostic studies. In addition, the center continues to offer breast and general ultrasound, bone densitometry, and ultrasound and stereotactic biopsies. BenOra Imaging merged with Solis Women’s Health, the leading provider of independent breast imaging services in the United States, in early January.

Richard Vanesian, MD, one of the three principle physicians at Solis-BenOra, commented: “Avi BenOra, who founded this center, would be astonished at how far it has come in thirty years. We also believe that he would share our pride in being able to continue to offer exceptional service to the women of Phoenix in a new, larger and very patient-friendly facility.”

The center features a spa-like décor, enhanced with comfortable furnishings and a liberal use of artwork to help create a relaxing and healing atmosphere. Jack Coito, Vice President of Operations for Solis, commented that one of the first patients in the new facility told him that she felt “more like I was in the living room of my home than in a medical office.” Coito continued to reflect that, “although the facility is wonderful, the real message of caring is delivered by each member of the staff at the Solis BenOra center. We truly want each of our patients to feel like a part of our family, and to know that we understand their concerns and anxieties about their annual mammograms and the early detection of breast cancer.”
