Wayne Hansen, M.D.

Dr. Hansen is a graduate of Southern University of Utah and received his medical degree from the University of Alabama. In 1983, he went on to serve his residency in Diagnostic Radiology followed with a fellowship in Computed Tomography & Ultrasound from the Naval Hospital of San Diego. Dr. Hansen has been with BenOra Imaging since 1987.
     
 

Richard Vanesian, M.D.

After obtaining a Bachelors of Science from University of California, Davis he earned his medical degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1973. Dr. Vanesian completed his internship and radiology residency at the University of California at Irvine Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident his final year. Dr. Vanesian joined BenOra Imaging in 1992.
 
     
 

Michele West, M.D.

Dr. West earned both her Bachelors of Science in Biology and her medical degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia. After completing her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 1989, she completed a fellowship in Computed Tomography, Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Georgetown University Hospital and The National Institutes of Health in Washington D.C. In 1991, she was an Assistant Professor of Radiology at The Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Dr. West joined BenOra Imaging in 1994.

Marla Lander, M.D.

Dr. Lander earned both her Bachelors of Art and medical degree from the University of California, Irvine. She completed a residency in Radiology at the University of California, Irvine in 1995. Following her residency, Dr. Lander completed a mammography fellowship in Sweden with Dr. Laszlo Tabar. She has also completed fellowships at Saddleback Valley Women’s Imaging Center in Laguna Hills, CA, and Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, CA. Dr. Lander returned to Sweden in 1997 to complete a fellowship in International Mammographic Diagnostic Techniques.

Phyllis Schmidt, M.D.

Dr. Schmidt earned her Bachelors of Arts from Indiana University Bloomington and her medical degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis. She went on to complete a residency in Radiology and a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Los Angeles County General Hospital, University of Southern CA. Dr. Schmidt completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology, Body Imaging and Ultrasound from Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in 1994 followed by a fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, CA. Dr. Schmidt joined the Indianapolis Breast Center in 1996.
 
 

Lucia Spears, M.D.

After obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Purdue University, Dr. Spears earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in 1983. After completing medical school, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA. Dr. Spears has served as Medical Director of the Indianapolis Breast Center since 2001.

Margaret Bertrand, M.D.

Dr. Bertrand holds a Bachelors of Art in Biology from Cornell University. She earned her medical degree and went on to serve an internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX in 1975. Dr. Bertrand completed her residency in radiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.

Patricia Stafford, M.D.

Dr. Stafford earned both her Bachelors of Science and medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. She completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Cincinnati in 1992, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Stafford completed an Associate Fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona.

Kandace Farmer, D.O.

Dr. Farmer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and is a 1996 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and served a fellowship in Breast Imaging & Intervention at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore.
Kandace Farmer, D.O.

 

Thalia Bratton Forte, M.D.

Dr. Forte holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. A 1991 graduate from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, she completed her residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Following her residency, Dr. Forte served a Women’s Imaging fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
Thalia Bratton Forte, M.D.

 

David Johnston, M.D.

Dr. Johnston graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University and received his medical degree from University of Utah in 1999. After completing an internship at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN, Dr. Johnston completed his residency and fellowship programs at Mallinckrot Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, Missouri.
 

 

Martha McQuaid, M.D.

Dr. McQuaid holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas, Austin and is a 1992 graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Tennessee before returning to Texas in 1996. Since that time, she has devoted her career to women ’s imaging. Dr. McQuaid is a native Texan and is fluent in Spanish.

Michele Miles, M.D.

Dr. Miles received her Bachelor of Science and completed medical school at Indiana University, where she received High Honors for academic achievement. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and in 1998, was a fellow at Susan G. Komen Breast Center at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

 

Minh Nguyen, M.D.

Dr. Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Texas, Austin. He earned his medical degree in 1991 from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr Nguyen completed his residency at Baptist Medical Center of Oklahoma in 1995 and served a fellowship in Clinical Breast Radiology at the Susan G. Komen Breast Center at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Minh Nguyen, M.D.

 

Denise Wise, M.D.

Dr. Wise holds a Bachelor of Science from Mount Marty College. She earned her medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine in 1996 and completed her residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. In 2001, she served a fellowship in Breast Imaging at Baylor’s Susan G. Komen Breast Center.
